Sales / Systems Engineer
We are seeking talented Sales/Systems Engineer to offer Pre-Sales Support for our Enterprise Accounts.
You will be assisting our sales team by:
• Providing Pre-Sales Support to Berkeley Communications’ Sales Reps and Customers
• Keeping abreast of the latest industry standards and technologies
• Analyzing customer requirements
• Proposing, presenting/demonstrating technical solutions
• Ensuring acceptable product installations
• Training users and providing initial technical support
• Driving solution-led sales of various hardware and software products
• Act as a point of contact to the customer for pre-sales technical expertise
• Arranging necessary support for the customer with our Support Team
You will also provide ongoing proactive technical support to customers via phone, email, and onsite visits.
Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of Storage as well as NAS and SAN concepts is required.
• Ability to install and administer Linux/UNIX and Windows is required.
• A good understanding of Core IT concepts is a must.
• Experience with Network Appliance, EMC, HDS, or HP a plus
• An understanding of CIFS, NFS, FCP, and iSCSI
• Understanding DR, Backup and Recovery, and other Data Protection concepts
• Experience with Ethernet, FC, and other networking topologies
• Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills
